Candles make an excellent accent to wedding decorations. Tealite, votive, floating and pillar candles can all be used on their own or to enhance colours as part of larger arrangements.
Stores that make custom candles are able to customize the colour and scent of candles used for weddings. While light scents, like rice flower, are often used for weddings unscented candles are also becoming popular because of allergies. If the scent of a desired candle is too strong candle makers are able to ‘cut’ the scent.
To incorporate scent without a flame reed diffusers are available. Reed diffusers provide a less intense scent and an Asian-feel.
Traditional white wedding linens are being brightened up with colours though napkins and centerpieces. Brightly-colored linens are also being used over more subtle base linens as brides are looking for a more unique look.
Nature is being brought back inside of wedding tents for receptions. Branches are being incorporated and flowers are being set on top of tree stumps. To save money there is a new trend to reuse flower arrangements from the wedding in the hall for the reception.
