Want a completely different look for your wedding photographs?
Consider having some or all of your wedding photographs taken at night where the only source of light is the moon augmented by artificial light sources such as electronic flash or fixed sources.
The predominantly black images are quite dramatic and focus attention on the details through the skillful use of external lighting. Extraneous details and busy backgrounds disappear into the blackness so it is an option worth considering if you are limited in your choice of settings. Even rather plain locations look completely different with the right lighting effects.
Assuming that you can find a photographer that is comfortable using this approach is not likely to cost you any more than if you had photographs taken during the day. You’re unsure of the results or want to mix of daytime and nighttime photographs, talk this over with photographer. It may require you to have more than one session with some slight increase in cost.
